Introduction
Welcome to the Your Script Produced! International Film Festival (“Festival”). These Official Rules, Regulations, Terms & Conditions (“Rules”) govern all submissions, participation, screenings, events, competitions, industry meetings, awards, promotions, and related activities associated with the Festival.
By submitting a film, television pilot, documentary, screenplay-related project, or any associated materials to the Festival, each entrant (“Submitter,” “Applicant,” “Filmmaker,” or “Rights Holder”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Rules.
The Festival reserves the right to interpret these Rules and resolve all matters not expressly covered herein in its sole and absolute discretion.
Festival Mission & Purpose
Your Script Produced! International Film Festival is dedicated to discovering, supporting, showcasing, and advancing independent filmmakers,
screenwriters, producers, directors, and content creators from around the world.
The Festival seeks to:
Highlight exceptional storytelling and cinematic achievement.
Promote emerging and established filmmakers.
Create opportunities for production, financing, distribution, and industry exposure.
Connect writers and filmmakers with producers, investors, distributors, agents, and entertainment executives.
Categories: Submissions are accepted in various categories, including but not limited to Feature Films, Short Films, Television Pilots, Documentaries, and Screenplays.
Age Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission. If applicant is under 18, parental or legal guardian consent is required.
Language Requirements: All non-English language films must include English subtitles. Screenplays, treatments, and written projects must be submitted in English.
Original Work: All submissions must be the original work of the applicant or the applicant must possess all necessary rights, licenses, clearances, and permissions. Projects that have been optioned, sold, or are in development must disclose their legal status upon submission.
Clearance & Rights: The Submitter warrants that they are the sole author, owner, or authorized representative of the project and possess full legal authority to submit the work. The Submitter is solely responsible for securing all clearances, licenses, releases, and permissions for music, performance, script, footage, trademarks, and intellectual property.
Indemnification: The Submitter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Festival, its parent companies, affiliates, sponsors, partners, judges, staff, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, fees, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to copyright infringement, trademark violations, music synchronization, right of privacy, or publicity claims.
Exhibition Rights: By submitting, the Submitter grants the Festival the non-exclusive right to screen, exhibit, showcase, broadcast, and promote the project during the designated Festival dates (November 14–15, 2026) and associated promotional preview events.
Disqualification, Technical Terms & Fees
Non-Refundable Fees: All submission fees, registration charges, and entry payments are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including project withdrawal, disqualification, technical failure, or change of festival formatting.
Disqualification: The Festival reserves the right to disqualify any submission, entry, or participant for non-compliance with technical parameters, failure to provide verified rights clearance, breach of code of conduct, or actions that compromise the security, operations, fairness, or reputation of the Festival.
FINAL FESTIVAL RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
The Your Script Produced! International Film Festival reserves the right to:
- Amend these Rules at any time.
- Interpret all Festival policies.
- Resolve disputes in its sole discretion.
- Refuse or revoke participation.
- Protect the Festival’s reputation, operations, programming, sponsors, and affiliated parties.
All matters not expressly addressed herein shall be determined solely by the Festival.
